Global Warming: What You Need to Know

The following documentary, Global Warming: What You Need to Know, with Tom Brokaw, from The Discovery Channel, is probably my favorite documentary on the issue... yes, better than Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth, in my opinion, although his web-site is a nice resource of scientific and activist information as well.

The science is laid out in accessible terms; the consequences are shown to range anywhere from increasingly powerful hurricanes to an exponential increase in the number of carrying pathogen vectors, such as mosquitoes, to the disappearance of many of the major coastal cities worldwide; and the dim light at the end of the tunnel is shown in terms of the things we can all individually do in order to slow down the proliferation of this devastating phenomenon.
