Today we have the third episode of the awesome documentary series Life in the Undergrowth, narrated by Sir David Attenborough. This episode, entitled The Silk Spinners, explores the fascinating lives of silk-producing insects and the various uses to which the wonderfully flexible material silk is put in the natural world, starting with its relationship to the light show created by certain bioluminescent cave insects as a beautiful and eerie hunting trap.
