If a real asteroid were about to obliterate all life on Earth, I wonder how many of you would play this song as you were about to meet your end...
Feel free to share what music you would play on your last hour.
Me? I'm conflicted between Metallica or maybe Mozart's Requiem... :(

I love the part where Japan gets sucked up into the shockwave of the crust being ripped off the asthenosphere. It's like the Japanese were the lucky ones... the Europeans on the other hand get hammered by residual meteor debris, and then a wave of fire that consumes the Earth.
ReplyDeleteI listened to Mozart's Requiem: Introitus, and although it did sound great with the visuals, the timing just wasn't as good as Pink Floyd's The Great Gig in the Sky.
I tried listening to a number of songs, and there was one that stood out well enough. Nine Inch Nails' The Great Destroyer didn't have the timing on the initial impact, but Trent was yelling "I am the great destroyer!" right at the moment when Japan gets sucked up... sweet. Too bad the song was shorter than the video feed. However, if you listen to the next track on the album, Another Version of the Truth (Year Zero), it really works for the duration of the footage. Enjoy.
