If you haven't heard yet, you should totally visit the World Science Festival in NYC this weekend. There are going to be all kinds of fascinating talks and workshops you simply cannot miss. I'm going to see Dan Dennet, Marc Hauser, Antonio Damasio and Patricia Churchland talk about the science of morality.

In this hilarious video, Stephen Colbert and Brian Greene talk about the festival, and Colbert dishes out the unverifiability objection to string theory.

One thing I suggest for next year, or at least till I can figure out how to be in multiple places at the same time, is that they don't overlap so many good talks simultaneously. Making those choices became an unnecessarily painful experience for me...
