Hofmann's Potion

As you may have heard, Albert Hofmann, the Swiss scientist best known for his discovery of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), as well as many of its psychic effects, passed away recently at the age of 102.

This documentary explores the discovery of LSD and the insights about the human brain to which it led. Although it is popularly known for its recreational use, it has had medical and therapeutic applications, and has greatly helped to create a new paradigm under which to study the human brain.

Can you imagine studying LSD while tripping on LSD? That's got to be one trippy experience!
