Steven Pinker on Faith vs. Reason

I have always found it curious when people try to defend faith as a good thing. The irony comes from the fact that the very attempt to convince someone why faith makes sense is itself an exercise in reason and persuasion, which, in a very twisted way, attempts to undermine the very basis on which faith is supposed to be a good thing...

Anyway, it seems Steven Pinker agrees, and adds some of his wisdom for good measure:
