Update: I have received some feedback about this entry both through email and in the comments below, and I get the sense that most people are missing the joke.
Ironically, the joke has nothing to do with "donations." It has to do with a loose serial killer whose crimes are being misinterpreted as charitable donations: hence the "This is only the beginning" poster. Get it?

Okay...I think this is great for all those in need of kidneys, but my question is where did they all come from?? And if their legit than why in the plastic bag just thrown at the door??? Im confused..
ReplyDeleteAs a RN I think this is a joke and a hoax! First of all organ donation has a massive screening process and is difficult under the BEST controlled conditions in a hospital when organ(s) are harvested. Organs aren't just 'dropped off' in a garbage bag unrefrigerated at a door! You'd have no way of knowing the donor's medical/health condition, blood type, HIV and/or hepatitis status, etc.

Get real! To what I understand kidneys cannot stay fresh outside the body for a long time, unless there refrigerated. Another thing! Why didnt this make world news if its so real? Why didnt this make top headlines! I think this is a a stupid joke! Probably the "DOCTOR" is as fake as the kidneys.
