Globalization and the Information Age
I haven't checked the reliability of the statistics shown in this presentation, so for all I know it's crap... but if true, it does show some very interesting things, and puts them in an even more interesting perspective still. The Irish background music is kind of catchy as well.

Interesting stats. The Irish music is from Last of the Mohicans, specifically the scene where Madeline Stowe's sister jumps to her death and Daniel Day Lewis goes on a killing spree...I have an odd sense of musical-memory.
