Two Economic Visions of the State

The world-renowned economist Richard Musgrave, who laid the foundation for the field of Public Finance in the post war era, has passed away at age 96. The following are links to a 1998 lecture series conducted at the University of Munich, entitled "Two Visions of the State," which he delivered along with Nobel prize winner James Buchanan.
